Ashby Baptist Church is a thriving community of Christians based in the town centre of Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire. We are a Church which is part of the Baptist Union and the local family of Baptist churches, as well as working alongside other Churches in Ashby as part of Ashby's 'Churches Together'.
A service is held every Sunday morning to which anyone is welcome, as well as coffee mornings, bible study groups, youth clubs, older people's fellowship meetings and a play-group throughout the week. More information about the weekly events held at Ashby Baptist Church can be found
here.
We warmly welcome and encourage anyone to come along and join in at Ashby Baptist, whether you've been a Christian for 100 years or just want to know more about Jesus Christ and His Love. For more information about the Church and how you can get involved, please contact the
Church office.

'Hope08 Gift Wrapping'
Hope 08 the Gift of Christmas
Following on from the success of the "Ashby Churches Community Fun Day" held in June we have decided it would be good to hold one more event under the banner of "Hope 08" for the town over the Christmas period.
On Saturday 13th December between 10am and 4pm it has been decided to hold a "Free Gift Wrapping Service". This will happen on the paved area in front of Boots and WH Smith inside a marquee. The idea is that people come along with gifts that they would like wrapped and we provide the materials and wrapping free of charge. Along with the wrapping will be a card telling of the times of the various Christmas services and events as well as a suitable gift tag. Whilst people are queuing or waiting for their gifts to be wrapped we will provide a drink and mince pies and use that opportunity where appropriate to share the real meaning of the “Gift of Christmas” with them.
Gift Wrapping day December 13th 10am – 4pm Market Street
We feel sure that this will be another great way of showing our town the churches in action in the community
