Alpha

An Alpha course ran at Ashby Baptist from 23rd Sept -16 Dec 2009.
For 12 weeks on a Wednesday night people came and ate lovely food and heard about the Christian faith and then talked and discussed various issues.

So here are some Alpha highlights:
3 people coming to know Jesus, professing their faith and trust in God.
The amazing food! We had lovely yummy dinners and puddings each week!
The young people who led us in worship so beautifully each week.
The Holy Spirit day - how wonderful to experience God's spirit touching and moving people.
The team building and fellowship that occurred as people worked together.
The surprise visit from Santa (one of our guests dressed up)!
Seeing everyone, guest and team, move on in their own journey.
